Travel Directions
Tatanagar Junction, around four kilometres from the hotel, is the main entry point, on the busy Howrah to Mumbai line. Trains from Kolkata take around three to four hours, and there are direct connections to Delhi, Patna, Ranchi and many other cities. Auto rickshaws and taxis wait outside the station.
The nearest major airport is Birsa Munda in Ranchi, about one hundred and twenty kilometres away, roughly three hours by road. Kolkata airport, around two hundred and eighty kilometres away, offers more international connections. The hotel arranges airport transfers for an extra charge, and car hire is available through reception.
Jamshedpur's small Sonari aerodrome has seen occasional regional flights, but schedules have been irregular. Checking current operations before planning around it is advisable.
By road, Ranchi is about three hours northwest, Kolkata about five to six hours east via the national highway. Buses connect Jamshedpur with major cities of Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha.
Inside the city, auto rickshaws, taxis and ride hailing services cover all distances. Roads in the Tata town area are well maintained and less congested than in most Indian cities, though Bistupur and Sakchi markets become crowded in the evening.
